Wow that's a mouthful to say...
So Aveeno actually makes really good shampoo. I know some people use their moisturizers and I've heard about them but this is my first time trying an Aveeno product - Aveeno shampoo! Their new shampoo collection consists of : Nourish+Volumize, Nourish+Revitalize, Nourish+Moisturize, and Nourish+Soothe.
Just a while back I bought the shampoo and conditioner multi pack and kind of forgot about it until a fellow facebooker updated her status regarding using the shampoo. I was reminded and got excited so I went and tried it today.
The one I bought was Nourish+Moisturize because I have dry and damaged hair. My hair is in knots most of the time these days cause it's long and I don't take good care of it. That is why I always put my hair up these days -- a messy bun does the trick haha.
So I gotta say this shampoo did wonders. It detangled right when I used the shampoo and with the moisturizer it just added to the smoothness and detangled some more. The scent wasn't too strong like Fructis which I used to use a long time ago. It actually had a very refreshing scent to it and I love how it's made from wheat and oat ingredients - no sulfates! Sodium (sodium lauryl sulfate) is apparently a bad ingredient for hair cause it causes hair loss.
So just want to introduce to you a new product that I currently really like. Price? It's decent. If you get it at Costco the pack is just under $20 (or around $20 depending if you catch a sale or not) and comes with two shampoos and one conditioner. Would I buy this shampoo again? You bet! The conditioner is awesome and is comparable to Pantene Pro V which was one of my favorite conditioners just cause it was a good knot detangler. Scent? It's there but not overpowering. Packaging? Not the most important thing but from the pic you can see it's pretty standard and easy to use in a 310ml bottle. Results: soft hair, no tangles (and no sulfates!) Rating: 4.5/5
So what kind of hair do you have? Oily? Dry? Tell me what's a good shampoo cause I'm always looking for good ones to switch up once in a while.
(Not affiliated with Aveeno. A good experience lead me to share this shampoo with y'all)
