I'm a Winner /Tshirt of The Day

my wearing it

the design

So about a month ago I entered a fashion blog contest at stylebyfire and ended up winning a t-shirt. I don't know how things like this happen to me but apparently I do win things every now and then. Yay for my lucky streak!

I decided to wear my t-shirt for the first time today and it is quite comfortable. From the front it looks quite plain but on the back is an image of a samurai. The shirt is designed by Project Industries, a start up t-shirt company, and the design is a limited edition.

Since I'm into graphic t-shirts and creating some of my own one day, it's just a great inspiration to see someone being successful at something that I want to accomplish.

For the contest all I had to do was write about my biggest fashion risk. I never had much 'risks' in fashion but recalled the incident of one Halloween when I decided to be a Japanese woman. I had a sheer green kimono but because it was sheer I had to figure out some creative way of wearing it. It came to be that I could buy a white bath robe and wear it under the kimono (since it looked like it kinda matched), and I could return the bathrobe the next day. And that was exactly what I did. So I submitted that blurb for fun with no expectations.
