The coats above caught my attention. What unique styles.Fall is here and the leaves are finally turning orange and yellow! The weather's been kind of chilly and I've been looking for a wool coat. I already have one - a long one for formal outings but would like to get a shorter wool pea coat for convenience purposes. Going to and from school/work I would like something less lengthy and definitely not heavy. Casual enough for jeans but slightly dressy. Could be black or grey or maybe even plaid depending on how it looks overall. Could be double breasted, stand-collar, no loose tying belt, must be warm and made with wool. Price range not above the 80's. Removable hood's a bonus. I notice there are short pea coats that don't quite cover the butt so preferably something that does!
Any recommendations?

Ooh I love, love, love wool coats and jackets. I've got 6 already and I'm still looking at and coveting more every time I shop! I think I have a problem... :-) The ones pictured above look like Soia & Kyo coats, which while gorgeous, will set you back a pretty penny.
Hmm for a wool coat around $80, I think your best bet would be shopping the sales off-season. However, it's really hard to find a good coat with a high percentage of wool in the blend for that price. RW & Co, Sakura (Mantique's sister store), and Fairweather usually have wool coats at more affordable price points and might be worth checking out.

the coat i got from f21 is actually very identical to the first picture you posted. it was like $41? pretty reasonable. check out the store for coats! they're all fairly reasonable and most def fashionable. haven't seen you in like forever it seems :( misss you! (ok maybe cus i've been MIA from bhlc haha) hopeeeeefully i'll see you this sun! xo
hey lisa, probably dont need one that's made of a lot of wool but has some in it. maybe even 40%? tho i hope it feels soft. 6 wool coat's a lot i wish i had a bigger budget but yea school robs me and so does wedding. in the future i'd like a whole closet full of coats and blazers lol. thx for suggestions, will update if i find a cute coat.
