What's Up Vday and Olympics

So I haven't visited here for a while mainly cause of school. However, I do plan to revisit this blog every now and then - maybe once a month at least? I've been quite busy with school and work and also my side stuff. I've been on the computer a lot these day working on projects both personal and school related.

I notice that Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I don't really have anything against Valentine's Day. All I know is just like Christmas it's another one of those occasions where it gets over commercialized and usually the pressure is on the guys to make the right move and do the right things. As for myself I just want a simple, happy, sweet Valentine's Day. The more relaxing the better.. oh and good food is always a must for any occasion! Last year my honey (no I don't call him that don't know why I wrote that) took us to Boathouse for dinner. Lobster was delish and the miso halibut was sooo good. This year we're on a bit of a low budget so nothing fancy but no plans yet either. Maybe he can get me one of these fruit baskets from Edible Arrangements. Or some bath oils and sugar scrubs so I can enjoy myself and de-stress. I know what I'm getting him already.. it's really inexpensive, cute, homemade - personally designed by me.

Speaking of relaxation I wish I can get out of Vancouver while the Olympics are around. There are a few deals to go to Maui and San Fran at this time. If I had the money I'd be out of here already.

Doesn't this edible arrangement bouquet look yummy? Seriously it's just chocolate covered fruit and heart shaped pineapples at the end of the day but it's artistic and creative so I give points for that. It's also an ideal Valentine's gift for guys who are out of ideas for their health conscious girlfriends (just don't get one with chocolate covered strawberries).

This one even comes with a balloon. (I am a big fan of fruits!)

mmm those edible arrangements sure look good. after boxes and boxes of chocolates that i consumed during christmas, it'll be nice to get one of these. i just wonder how fresh the fruits are.

according to their site, they deliver their fruits fresh. once you open it they recommend you put it in the fridge.

Mmmm.. yums. You could be creative and stay in to cook something neither of you have made before.

Unfortunately, this year I don't get the good food part of Vday, as I'm staying in Van to work through the Olympics.

Are ya gonna post up pictures of what you eventually end up giving Stephen? And lol I actually got a lil stunned when I saw you call him your honey.. I had to read it twice haha just not used to that.

@selena - i guess you're not going to visit jeff then for vday, but it's ok it's just one day. but yea it's a good time to leave the city right now since it's olympics time. i would sooo get out of here if i could for those two weeks. so are you doing reviews for some extra cash now? your review on the honey mask thing looks pretty cool : D

should do some more if it's not too much work. get some side income.
