So I've been looking for a good concealer for a while now and thought I'd share that I've finally found my holy grail. Before going into that, let's take a look at what concealers I ended up going through before finding success.
There are four things I look for in a good concealer:
2. Blendability
3. Long Lasting Wear
4. Matching Shade
5. P

I went into Sephora and sampled the infamous Amazing Concealer. Based on what people having been raving on about this concealer (youtube, bloggers, etc) I just had to check it out for myself. I sampled the two lighter shades available cause I'm more pale. I have warm skin tone and normal to dry skin. Here are my thoughts:
1. Coverage: This concealer is tough stuff. Its got thick consistency even with a small application. It's thick like glue but not sticky. A small dab goes a long way. Great! 5/5
2. Blendability: It is blendable I would say. That's important for me b/c eye circles aren't always just right beneath your eye. My circles sometimes take up more of my face on certain days when good sleep is lacking. No caking/creasing. 4.5/5
3. Long Lasting Wear: It doesn't come off until you literally go and wash it off. It's water resistant. 5/5
4. Matching shade: Definitely this is very important. If it's a good concealer but it doesn't match your skin tone, that just defeats the purpose of a concealer. For me, I'm warm skin toned, and most of these shades are pink-ish. I just couldn't purchase this even though I wanted to. 3/5
Get it if your shade is available.

Next up: Bobbi Brown Concealer. I definitely saw a lot of people talking about this one too. In forums, a lot of people say this is the one concealer or make up product they can't do without. I decided to give it a go.
1. Coverage: This concealer provides light to medium coverage. It definitely lightens your eye circles and diminishes other blemishes on your face but it doesn't give full coverage. Only good for days when I just need some touching up. For those sleepless nights I can't see myself using this in the morning. 3/5
2. Blendability: It isn't that blendable. This is a cream concealer, not liquid. Once applied it is a bit sticky (think glue stick). Dabbing it on creates a bit of texture from your finger prints and blending it just removes coverage. I had to layer more than needed to give it enough coverage. Not good for on the go application. This concealer also comes with loose powder to apply on top. It helps smoothen out the texture but it's extra work. Little to no caking/creasing. 2.5/5
3. Long Lasting Wear: It lasts! Water resistant and smudge proof. 5/5
4. Matching shade: The shade is right for my skin tone but it isn't effective to cover up the eye circles completely. However, this concealer comes in many shades. 4/5
Recommended if you like the consistency of a cream concealer and don't have serious eye circles.
Price: $44CDN 0.8g (loose powder) 1.7g (concealer)

NARS concealer. It comes in a tube like lipstick.
1. Coverage: This concealer provides good coverage, no complaints. 4/5
2. Blendability: It is blendable. It has a suprisingly smooth, blendable texture. Some caking/creasing. 3/5
3. Long Lasting Wear: For certain concealers, I just don't get that confidence that it won't rub off at the end of the day or smear due to sweat or water. The consistency is so smooth and blendable that there's less of a sticky texture. (I need tough stuff cause I go through a lot in a day ...and I'm clumsy and rub my eyes a lot) 3/5
4. Matching shade: The shade matched. They had a good warm tone shade. 4/5
Recommended if you like the consistency of something creamy and blendable. Ideal if you want to spend less or don't have dry skin.
Price: $26 or $27 a tube o.12oz

ConcealFX Concealer is liquid concealer in a squeeze tube (similar to Amazing Concealer)
1. Coverage: This concealer provides very good coverage. 5/5
2. Blendability: It is blendable. Just like Amazing Concealer, a little dab does go a long way and can cover up more surface area than you think. No caking/creasing if any probably minor. 5/5
*(Updated 9/30/10)
3. Long Lasting Wear: Not very. In normal weather conditions it's alright but when in contact with water it runs off your skin in a muddy clay like substance. 2.5/5
4. Matching shade: I think they had less shades than Amazing Concealer and other brands but overall they had one suited for warm skin tones. I use the shade medium. Surprisingly I wasn't a light or extra light. Don't freak out once you dab some on and it looks absolutely off and hideous. When you blend it in with your skin the shade becomes your skin tone. Love it! 5/5
Yellow skin tones you should be in luck here. It's a great price for a great product. The only complaint is that it smells a little.
Price: $27 15ml
ConcealFX and Amazing Concealer are also highly recommended by my friend, Elena who's a professional make up artist.

CoverFX products are generally really good and have the widest range if you're looking for matching foundations for your skin tones, too.
I agree that the Amazing Cosmetics is generally pinker than my natural skin tone but since I just a very thin layer, it actually brightens and cancels out the brown under my eyes so it works out without looking too fake.
Good job trying out all those concealers before purchasing.
Thanks for the review... I still haven't found my HG concealer yet. I'm going to try out the Amazing Concealer this weekend.
