What's up everyone? So April's been quite a busy month for me. I've found that picture dress for the photo shoot, got tux rentals done, made some arrangements for wedding planning, found a few more helpers, and got myself into a little competition in my design program. Apparently I'm working hard on this graduation poster of ours because I'm one of the finalists that have been selected to rework and touch up our poster. I know, in the end I could end up not getting selected but I got to try for it anyway. It's tough and many sleepless nights. It's that and homework and also preparing to go to India mission trip.
So let's look at what else happened this month:

The infamous
Annual Army and Navy Shoe Sale. Doors opened at 8am and
Selena and I were there at 7:30, well she made it at 7:15. We both got something. What I got:

This doesn't look like an attractive pair of sandals but they are surprisingly super comfortable. $30 for spring and summer wear. Wear it with capris or shorts, or anything casual.

Steve Madden heels for $25. These are perfect for prom. Why did I get them? They matched the bridesmaid dresses so I got a pair to see if Sindy wanted to try them out. If she doesn't like I'll keep them for myself. I don't think this matches my white or off white dress. Maybe the white one. Check out
Selena's page to see what she bought.

Had sushi with classmates at Momo's by Waterfront Station.

This shirt is awesome. It's Bill the Bullet from Super Mario. It's actually Stephen's. He washed it once and it became a muscle shirt. Washed it again and it became mine. ; ) Wore it to school and gym and everyone liked it. Poor Stephen lol.

This is a banana guard. No more bruised bananas in my school bag.
How's your month of April looking?

Oh cool, you went to the A&N shoe sale! I think this is the first year I've gone and not bought anything--the shoes they had really weren't to my taste. And it's so funny that Stephen's shirt shrank and now it's yours. The boy was talking to me yesterday and accidentally put his new blue/white striped Banana Republic t-shirt in the dryer. Now that it's shrunken, I've asked him if he'll give it to me to wear with a belt and leggings. :-)
Re. your comment: I didn't make it to Yaletown Fashion Day! I had a dental appointment and then spent the afternoon napping/dozing.
I love that shirt, haha it's funny the transitions it went through to become yours.
I wish I brought an actual camera so I could post up better pictures of the sale too.
Did you end up returning to the sale another day?
That banana guard is awesome! I just let mine get all bruised. =P
